Today, the House Energy and Commerce Committee is summoning President Obama's cabinet members to testify in a “mega-hearing” about climate change.

Don’t get us wrong—we’re all for members of Congress discussing climate solutions. But it looks like the hearing will be nothing more than a platform for climate deniers and obstructionists to grandstand and score political points. We’re calling it "Denierpalooza."

Will you show your support for Congressional action with a donation to EDAF’s Climate Action Fund today?

Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman, Fred Upton (R-MI) is a signer to the infamous Koch brothers climate obstruction pledge. More than 400 elected officials—including more than 250 Members of Congress—have signed on, pledging to block any climate-related legislation!

The Kochs have spent millions of dollars creating climate gridlock. EDAF’s Climate Action Fund is focused on breaking through that gridlock: supporting pro-environmental legislation and defending against legislative attacks on existing environmental protections.

2 in 3 Americans want Congress to take action on climate. Today, as “Denierpalooza” unfolds on Capitol Hill, make a gift to EDAF’s Climate Action Fund to help us stand with the vast majority of Americans who support real climate solutions.

P.S. In advance of the hearing, Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-KY) tipped his hand when he sent letters to federal agencies warning that they should be prepared for tough questioning on federal climate initiatives. Our job is to stand together and expose this Denierpalooza for what it is—a waste of time and a farce. Please support our efforts with a donation today.
