We're on the verge of several historic environmental events. The EPA is working to implement America's first-ever national limits on climate pollution from power plants, and we're fighting hard against attacks from industry and their friends in Congress.
We're also making incredible strides in the fight to protect our families from dangerous chemicals. America's Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 hasn't been updated in over 37 years, and is so ineffective that it leaves known carcinogens in our homes. A new bipartisan bill offers hope, as long as Congress improves and moves it.
