What does this mean? Read on to find out. Climate Activist— Moments ago, the Environmental Protection Agency submitted its New Source Pollution Rule to the federal register. What does this mean?
In short, it means we're on a very tight deadline to beat climate deniers and the deep-pocketed coal lobby. In just two months, we must establish a record-breaking level of support for this rule—which will, for the first time EVER, put national limits on carbon pollution from future American power plants.
Take Action: Send the EPA your support for this historic step in the battle against climate change.
This is our make-or-break moment—and we must do everything possible to ensure the rules are implemented without delay. These historic standards set the stage for the entire U.S. Climate Action Plan, paving the way for much-needed next steps to set limits on existing power plants.
I know I can count on you to help make this happen—because you and your fellow EDF activists are a force to be reckoned with.
Last year, 175,481 of you took over 1.75 million actions, shattering EDF's previous advocacy records. In the wake of this outstanding year, I'm issuing a new challenge: Help us send the EPA 100,000 comments in support of this new rule.
Stand on the right side of climate history. Take action today to help end dirty energy.
Thank you for your activism and support,
