Friend—

Thanks to the generous support of EDF's members, we won heartening progress for the environment last year. From reducing carbon emissions to making household products safer, from preserving healthy ecosystems to restoring health to our oceans, we saw forward progress in each of our key areas of focus.

2013 was also the year you joined our online community. In our first year together, I hope we've been able to provide you with valuable information and opportunities to make your voice heard.

Our 2013 Annual Report is a comprehensive guide to the important work our members' donations supported in 2013. In the past, due to printing costs, this report was only made available to board members and other key stakeholders. This year, I'm pleased to invite you to read EDF's 2013 Annual Report, What Matters Most online.

If you're as heartened as I am by the important victories we celebrated last year, I hope that you'll consider supporting our work in 2014 by making a gift today. Your support can help ensure a cleaner, healthier planet and a safer future.
