Take Action: Another Attack on Climate Action

He's looking to undo your hard work. Climate Activist—

Don't let them derail climate action.

It's becoming difficult to keep track of all their climate action attacks—and now we've got another to add to the list.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is launching an attack on EPA's proposed Carbon Pollution Standards for power plants. These much-needed protections would—for the first time in American history—set a national limit on carbon pollution from future fossil-fuel power plants.

Over 100,000 EDF activists have taken action in support of this rule—but Sen. McConnell is looking to undo your hard work.

Take Action: Don't let them derail climate action.

Sen. McConnell claims that it's a "cruel" rule, part of a "War on Coal" that would "devastate" his home state of Kentucky—but his accusations just don’t match up with the facts. A recent study actually came to the conclusion that it would be economically beneficial for Kentucky to diversify its power sources and invest in renewable energy—which could supply over 30% of the state's power by 2025!

The truth is, we have no time to waste in the fight for climate action. These endless attacks on common-sense solutions are a waste of lawmakers' time, and an unnecessary threat to our future clean energy economy.

Don't stand for it. Tell your Senators to reject McConnell's war on climate action!
