The UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued their latest report just days ago. What are the key findings?

  • Climate change is everywhere. Impacts have been found on every single continent.
  • Both people and wildlife are vulnerable.
  • Building resilience is critical to limiting risks...
  • ...but cutting heat-trapping gas emissions is essential.

Action is necessary. But here in the U.S., we're still dealing with climate denialists and the dirty energy lobby's opposition.

Get all the details in our slideshow on national power plant regulations.

The more we hear from climate scientists, the more daunting the situation seems.

This is a serious moment. The fight to avoid climate calamity confronts us with sobering realities. We have a tremendous amount of work to do—and very little time in which to do it.

It won't be easy. But, there is a path forward—and that's important. In fact, just yesterday the EPA submitted its draft carbon pollution rule for existing fossil fuel power plants to the Office of Management and Budget—a critical step in our efforts to solve the climate crisis.

Find out what policies we're fighting for—and what you can do to help put them into practice.
