There are two things that make March 1985 significant to me. First— it’s the month I was born. It also happened to be the first of what has now been 345 consecutive months where the average global temperature has been warmer than the historical average.
That’s right: We haven’t experienced a cooler-than-average month on Earth since Ronald Reagan was beginning his second term. And if you’re my age or younger, you’ve never experienced a single month of your life that hasn’t been hotter than "usual."
