You and I know how real the threat of climate change is for our planet. We see evidence of it on a daily basis.
Sadly, extreme weather events have become more frequent and fierce—resulting in tragic loss of lives and livelihoods and costing us billions of dollars to restore these communities. Precious wildlife habitats, from the Amazonian rainforests to the Arctic tundra to the Great Barrier Reef, are in grave danger.
But together, we can make a BIG difference. Your donation to EDF this month will be matched twice—TRIPLING the value of your gift. - First, your gift will be matched $1-for-$1 by the High Meadows Foundation, co-founded by EDF Board Chair Carl Ferenbach.

- You kept the pressure on Congress to stop bickering and hold a vote on the President’s appointment of a new EPA Administrator—and after months of delays, environmental champion Gina McCarthy was finally confirmed.
- You stood up to the coal lobby’s attempts, via the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), to gut state renewable energy standards—and nearly all the ALEC-endorsed bills failed to pass.
